Raylin Joy Biography: Who Is She?
Raylin Joy is an American entertainer. She started as an alternative model and later became widely known under the name Skin Diamond. In 2016 she moved away from adult entertainment to focus on music and mainstream acting. Since then she has used her real first name and middle name, Raylin Joy, for her songwriting and singing.
She is often described as a “reinvention” story. She kept her past in the open while building a new creative career. A 2016-era interview piece on xoJane covered exactly this: how she moved from one career to another without hiding where she came from.
Raylin Joy Age and Birthday
She was born in 1987 in Ventura, California. That makes her 39 years old in October 2026, since her birthday falls in February.
The exact date is where sources disagree:
- IMDb and some biography sites list February 18, 1987.
- At least one biography site lists February 8, 1987.
Both dates give the same age today. If you need the exact date for a quiz or a caption, use February 18, since IMDb is the more commonly cited source. Treat it as “reported” rather than confirmed.
Early Life and Family Background
Raylin was born in Ventura, California, but her childhood was spent far from it. She grew up in Dunfermline, Scotland, where her parents worked as missionaries. According to one biography, the family moved there when she was about three years old.
Parents and Siblings
- Father: Rodd Christensen, an American actor. He is known for playing Spencer the painter in the Scottish children’s TV series Balamory.
- Mother: One biography site names her as Aleta Christensen. No major source gives more detail, so treat it as lightly confirmed.
- Siblings: Many biography pages put “siblings” in their titles, but we found no reliable source that names or confirms any. If a site gives you exact names, check where the information came from.
Ethnicity and Background
Wikipedia says she is of Ethiopian, Danish, Czech, Yugoslavian and German descent. Growing up between California and Scotland also shaped her creative voice. Her mix of cultures is often mentioned when fans talk about her look and style.
Education: What We Know
Most competitor pages say little here, and some invent a high school or college degree. We will not do that.
Raylin Joy’s education is not publicly disclosed. No verified source names her school, college or degree. Her creative path appears to have come from modeling, music and acting rather than a formal academic route.
If a page claims a specific school or degree for her, check whether it cites a real source. Many low-quality bio sites copy a generic line such as “finished high school and then studied at a state university.”
Height, Weight and Body Details
- Height: Most sources list about 5 feet 5 inches (1.65 meters).
- Weight: No reliable figure has been published. Pages that give an exact number usually guess.
- Look: Early in her career she was known for bright pink hair, tattoos and an alternative style.
If you want to compare her height with others, 5 ft 5 in is close to the average height for American women.
Raylin Joy Career Timeline
Here is her career in simple order. This is the part most competitor pages blur together.
1. Alternative Modeling (Late 2000s)
She began as an alternative model. She posed for platforms such as GodsGirls and did art and fetish modeling in both Europe and the United States. This work gave her an early online following.
2. Adult Entertainment Career (From About 2009)
One biography dates her entry into the adult film industry to 2009. During these years she became widely known under the name Skin Diamond and received industry nominations. Her agent was Mark Spiegler, according to Wikipedia. We keep this section short and factual because her later career is what most readers care about.
3. The Move to Music and Acting (2016)
In 2016 she left adult film to pursue songwriting and mainstream acting. This was the biggest turning point of her career.
4. Music as Raylin Joy
Under her real name she released her first official single and music video, “Fire,” produced by Ben Cole. Another single, “All Night,” was also released in 2016. IMDb also lists a single called “Sunny Grey.” She is best described as a singer-songwriter with an alternative pop and R&B sound.
5. Acting and Screen Work
She made her mainstream acting debut in the Showtime series Submission, according to one biography site. IMDb also lists screen credits including Envío (2016) and appearances in music videos for artists such as G-Eazy.

| About 2009 | Entered adult film industry (Skin Diamond) |
| 2016 | Left adult film for music and acting |

Is Raylin Joy Dating? Boyfriend and Relationship Status
This is one of the most searched questions, and it is where competitors say the least.
- No major source confirms a current boyfriend, husband or fiancé.
- One biography site says she is “possibly single” with no known spouse.
- She keeps her private life out of the spotlight and focuses on work.
We found no verified information about past partners that we are willing to repeat. Pages that name a boyfriend without a source are usually guessing. If this changes, we will update this page.
Raylin Joy Net Worth and Income
Net worth is always an estimate. For Raylin Joy, two ranges appear online:
| Source type | Estimated net worth |
|---|---|
| Celebrity net worth sites | About $800,000 |
| Some biography sites | About $1 million |
How She Likely Earns Money
- Modeling and brand work
- Her earlier adult film career
- Music releases and streaming
- Acting and music video appearances
- Paid fan content on her own website
Why the Numbers Differ
Nobody outside her own accountant knows her true income. Net worth sites estimate from public work, awards and typical pay in the industry. That is why you will see different figures. A fair summary is between $800,000 and $1 million, with the caution that it is unconfirmed.
Social Media and Official Links
She uses the name Raylin Joy online. Her official site listed on Wikipedia is skindiamondvip.com. Be careful with fan pages and copycat accounts, and only trust links that come from her own verified profiles.
Why Other Pages Disagree (And Where They Go Wrong)
We compared several biography pages. These are the most common problems:
- Conflicting birth dates. Some say February 8, others February 18, and one page lists an age that does not match any date.
- Copy-pasted templates. Several sites use the same layout for every celebrity, with lines like “height is not known” left in the text.
- Made-up education. Generic degrees are added with no source.
- Unsourced boyfriend claims. Rumors are presented as facts.
- No update date. Readers cannot tell whether a net worth figure is from 2021 or 2026.
- Name confusion. Pages never explain why people search for spellings like “Raylin Ann.”
This article fixes each of these by showing the disputed facts, saying what is unknown, and giving a date for the last update.
